The Fugen Imperium quartz worktop was the perfect choice for this striking kitchen remodel. From the beginning, our client wanted a design that made a statement — something sleek, luxurious, and built to last. The large island quickly became the centrepiece of the space, serving as both a cooking and social area. With its clean lines and subtle sheen, the Fugen Imperium surface adds depth and elegance to the room without overpowering the surrounding features.
We complemented the island with a matching sink run along one wall, complete with a precision-cut upstand and bespoke windowsill.
These finishing touches ensure visual consistency and a seamless flow throughout the kitchen. The combination of the cool grey surface tones against the deep blue cabinetry gives the space a refined yet contemporary edge, perfectly balanced between modern sophistication and everyday practicality.
Every joint and corner was finished by hand to achieve a flawless edge alignment, and the mitred island corners were crafted to perfection for a solid, monolithic look. The surface itself not only looks premium but performs exceptionally — resistant to scratches, stains, and heat, ensuring it remains as impressive years from now as it does today.
By integrating lighting that gently reflects off the polished quartz and maintaining open sightlines through the space, the end result feels airy, spacious, and timeless.
